    The Role:

    The Field Marketing Lead is a hands-on role that will drive our solution marketing strategy into key market segments in order to accelerate sales. Federated Wireless is building a portfolio of products, and the role will include developing and executing launch plans. The successful candidate will have a broad product marketing/field marketing background in marketing B2B solutions to Mobile Network Operators MNO), Cable Operators (MSO), Managed Service Providers (MSP), Wireless ISPs(WISP), and/or Enterprises.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a business-based marketing strategy with KPI’s and program for assigned market segments (“market to”) with coordination and in conjunction with Corporate Marketing
    • Execute on the marketing strategy, with measurable results by setting targets to deliver quantifiable contributions to sales pipeline.
    • Create prioritized customer outreach by market segment and develop and execute against Account Based Marketing plan for each to have deeper penetration for high touch customers.
    • Create a diverse mix of high-touch programs, leveraging digital marketing.
    • Build Community/User Group programs for target market segments.
    • Build joint marketing campaigns and collateral with key customers to reach their end-user customers(“market with”).
    • Partner with Product Management and Corporate Marketing to distill company strategy and vision into simple and differentiated segment market messages.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years solution marketing/field marketing experience for a service provider and/or enterprise-focused company, preferably in wireless, software, SaaS, or Cloud
    • Experience in building digital communities and/or user groups preferred
    • Excellent, persuasive communicator and effective negotiator. Able to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
    • Conversant in audience and market understanding models, account based marketing, digital marketing, launch planning/execution and positioning/messaging
    • Proven track record of marketing to technical audience
    • Passion for measurement, metrics, and continuous improvement across the organization
    • Strong leadership and influence skills, strong team-building and team player characteristics
    • Strong interest in becoming the solution and segment expert and bringing the voice of the customer to the team
    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus in Marketing or related field

    Location

    • Arlington, VA

    Travel will be required in this position, domestically or internationally as deemed necessary to the growth and expansion of the Company.
