    The Role: 

    The IT manager will be responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of all information technology within the organization. In this role, you will direct IT vendors and staff to support and maintain existing applications, demonstrate a fexible approach in addressing IT issues, as well as developing new technical solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all functions of IT systems including infrastructure, network, security, and desktop support.
    • Committed to providing expert customer service, and responsive and sympathetic to the needs of internal and external customers.
    • Build and maintain strong collaborative team relationships, ensuring IT is aligned with business objectives and helping drive value to the business.
    • Develop, communicate, and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, proactively identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements.
    • Research IT solutions and make recommendations for the improvement of IT systems and IT infrastructure.
    • Work directly with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure IT project deadlines are aligned with business needs.
    • Manage third-party IT resources to ensure trouble tickets are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Respond immediately to network outages, coordinating necessary resources and activities for prompt and appropriate restoral.
    • Work closely with team managers to forecast network growth needs.
    • Work with both internal and external resources to design, document, and implement appropriate network redundancy and disaster recovery plans.
    • Verify application effectiveness by auditing implemented technologies.
    • Install, manage, and support all hardware and software used within the company.
    • Implement and maintain asset management for all IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ year’s experience in a senior level IT or management position
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or a related field
    • Experience managing internal and external teams in a distributed IT environment
    • Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting and Procurement
    • Experience in managing a meshed network of physical and cloud computing resources
    • Proven skills in leadership development and execution of projects and business initiatives
    • Excellent understanding of computers, software, and applications
    • Superior technical aptitude and a readiness to learn
    • Proven ability to manage complex tasks
    • Ability to “think outside the box” to develop solutions
    • Strong analytical and documentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to forecast business needs and mitigate potential risks
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
