    The Role: 

    Federated Wireless is looking for an individual practiced in the foundations of strategic communications who is ready to perform as an individual contributor to provide stakeholder engagement under Executive Management guidance in a startup environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing communications support: drafting emails, reports, presentations, internal and external communications to employees, clients, partners and investors
    • Serve as the administrative liaison to the Board
    • Handle all marketing communications as they relate to social media, website maintenance, blog and new communications for internal and external audiences
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CEO and other C-level Executives including travel support, calendar management, as well as coordinating Board of Directors and other business meetings
    • Oversee the planning and orchestrations of company, investor and board events
    • Write bi-monthly CEO newsletter to investors
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information
    • Provide general office management support as needed
    • Providing efficiency and structure to the executive team meetings through processes and accountability
    • Assist in monitoring the health of the organization and making specific recommendations on how to improve it
    • Ongoing ad hoc projects as requested

    Qualifications

    • 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a professional services environment specifically related to investor and board relations and marketing communications
    • High energy, professional and friendly personality with a “can-do” attitude
    • Exceptional ability to manage ambiguity, to discover, learn, adapt, and test new ideas
    • Excellent research and analysis skills with the ability to process and transmit information quickly and accurately.
    • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability utilizing good judgment, tact, and diplomacy
    • Demonstrated history that reflects the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
    • Highly resourceful team-player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
    • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
    • Passionate about process improvement and thrives in turning chaos into order
    • Ability to exercise absolute discretion and maintain confidentiality
    • Superb written and verbal communication skills
    • Superior proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related degree
