    Leveraging available financial option to support the growth and development of Federated’s strategic options is the corner stone of this position. Federated Wireless has raised over $75m in financial backing from a diverse set of investors including strategics (such as Charter, American Tower, and ARRIS) and financial institutions such as Allied Minds (majority investor), GIS and Woodford Investments putting it on a very sound financial ground. This role is tasked with leveraging Federated’s market leadership position, profitable business model, and strong global industry needs for spectrum and its disruptive products, to achieve superior financial returns.


    • The VP of Finance reports to the CEO to support and help drive company strategy and development
    • Analyze and create financial options for the company strategic growth to meet the business strategic plans in collaboration with the CEO and the board and be ready to execute against the strategic plan.
    • Communicate financial performance information to Board and Investors and represent Federated with potential investors including financial risks and opportunities.
    • Develop and enhance company’s financial foundation with appropriate systems and controls that will allow the business to effectively scale in hyper-growth phase over the next several years.
    • Lead all company budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities. Ensure continuous improvement of the budgeting process and optimization of financial performance
    • Prepare the company to deploy and integrate financial tools including accounting, ordering and receiving, billing and invoicing, sales forecasting, and regulatory controls.
    • Recruit, retain and mentor top quality finance staff. Hold team members accountable for deliverables while maintaining culture.


    • Experience as a senior financial executive in a high-growth technology, telecommunications or wireless company; preferably a B2B focus with elements of SaaS/software/subscription models.   
    • Success serving as the key member of the senior executive team in providing input to the CEO, investors, and management regarding the financial implications of all major business decisions, as well as strategic objectives.
    • Experience in a hyper-growth phase.  Understand the financial and operation systems and controls necessary to successfully scale the business including the implementation of systems and tools.
    • Proven ability to plan, budget, model and forecast with accuracy to know at all times where the company is in relation to internal and external models/targets for the current and successive years.
    • Strong breadth of skills across Accounting, FP&A, M&A, Tax, Legal, Facilities, and Negotiations.
    • Experience exiting companies with high-value return for all stakeholders. Experience leading or supporting a CFO leading a company through IPO process is idea.
    • Hands-on leader with the ability to attract and retain a high motivated and talented finance team.
    • Extremely high work ethic and strong ability to prioritize.
    • Excellent communications and relationships building skills with a well-established network of collogues and partners across the relevant industry segments.
    • Self-starter with a defined vision. Must be entrepreneurial with a high-level of energy, intensity, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win.
    • Experience as part of a small team in a early stage startup
